WHY BIND DEVIL’S

Theme : Matt .12:29

Matt .12:29 -- “ Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house , and spoil his goods , except he first bind the strong man ? And then he will spoil his house”. Jesus is telling us to bind devil’s first , before we cast them out . Jesus uses the parable of a strongman ( devil’s , not Satan ) by binding them first , then you can spoil his ( power or head devil and his follower devil’s ) house . House meaning somebody’s temple ( body , soul , and spirit ) . Spoil meaning , taking bad and evil habits out of someone’s temple , such as : evil doings ( deeds ) as smoking , drinking , drugs , cursing verbally and or cursing to do evil to someone else , and or their posses - sions . In Matt .16:19 , Jesus gives us the keys of the kingdom of heaven . What does the word keys mean , in this context ? The word keys mean authority .

 

If someone gives you a key or keys to something ,they are giving you authority ( permision) to enter , operate , or take charge over something . What gives Jesus Christ , and not Satan , that authority ? Jesus tells us in Matt .28:18 , that ALL POWER has been given to Jesus in heaven and in earth . Why ? Be - cause GOD THE FATHER gave ALL POWER to Jesus when He came to this earth in the flesh , as a man , walked and taught on this earth for about thirty three years , died and shed His blood  on a cross , and then arose from the dead , for POWER and to forgive the sins of the world . Thus entitling Jesus Christ to have this authority , and making Jesus the Christ , the Saviour of the world .

 

Jesus Christ  gave  ALL born again christian’s , the keys to heaven , to take charge over Satan’s devil’s . That’s why we cast ( command ) out devil’s , in the name of Jesus Christ . You say , Jesus was not the Saviour of the world yet , while He walked this earth in the flesh , as He was casting out devil’s , in Matt .12:22-28 . Remember , GOD THE FATHER always has been the head of the triune GODHEAD , as Gen . chp . one and I Cor . - 11:3 tell us . Up until Jesus died on the cross , Jesus always prayed  to GOD THE FATHER    ( Jesus and our HEAVENLY FATHER ) .

 

When devil’s ( not Satan ) are bound , they are bound for about one hour . That is just tem- porary . That is , so to speak , putting someone in a corner for about an hour . That puts ALL the devil’s in that persons temple , in hand cuffs for about an hour . There are two reasons to bind  devil’s . ( 1 ) For a warning , and ( 2 ) Right before casting a power or head devil out . Parable: ( 1 ) An officer gives you a warning for a traffic violation ( no fine ) . ( 2 ) You did not heed to the warning , so now you will pay the price .

 

Satan cannot be bound or cast out of anyone . We only have the authority to rebuke Satan, as Michael the archangel demonstrates to us in Jude 9 . Binding devil’s , binds ALL the devil’s in a person’s temple ( body , soul , and spirit ) for about an hour . Casting devil’s out of some -   one , only takes out one power or head devil , and all under that devil’s charge , as was the case with Legion and about 2,000 devil’s under his charge , found in Mark 5:1-9 . It’s like giving that power or head devil , and all follower devil’s under their charge , life in Hell , without parole    ( for eternity ) .

 

Parable : When devil’s are bound , when preparing to cast them out , it is like this : When a person has an operation , a specialist will give the patient something to num the pain , so the whole body does not feel pain during the operation . Binding is in the same , as ALL the devil’s are bound , so the person does not feel the pain , at the time of the operation ( devil’s being cast  out ) . Here is where each of the triune GODHEAD , each performing a different function . By the will of GOD THE FATHER , and the POWER of the HOLY GHOST , and by doctor JESUS , the power or head devil , and his follower devil’s can be cast ( taken ) out , as we the christian command that devil and his followers out . We christian’s command devil’s out IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST . We christian’s are using the sword of God ( GOD’S    word ) . We are like the knife in the doctor’s hand , taking out the devil’s ( cancer ) .

 

When we feel pain , whether we cast the devil’s out of ourselves , or we help to cast out of someone else , that is the devil’s trying to get back in . If the devil’s were cast out biblically , that is called a deliverance . That means the devil’s cannot get back in . If the devil’s were not  cast out biblically , then an un biblical act was performed by an exorcist . That is called an exorcism . Matt .12:43-45 tells us devil’s can find seven other devil’s stronger than himself , and come back in . Acts 19:13-16 is the results , when an exorcist performs an exorcism .
