A Baptist preacher , representing the Southern
Baptist Convention , stated “ I ( the Baptist preacher ) believe God has chosen Mike Huckabee for such an hour ( as governor wanting to be President
of the United States ) , and believe , of
all those running , Mike Huckabee will
listen to God .
My ( Dan Hanshaw ) comments : What god ? That Baptist
preacher is not serving the
right God , or
he would not be endorsing
Mike Huckabee to be President
of the United States . When God chooses a man ( not a woman ) to be in any of the offices
of the bishop , that
man has no business going
back to secular work . The twelve disciples left
their nets ( secular
work ) in Matt. 4:20 , and did
not return to
their secular work except for one time , and Peter was back
slidden at that time , as John 21:3 tells us .
You are either doing God’s work (
which is full time , not part time ) , or man’s
work . You are either a
christian or a sinner . Mike Huckabee has proved he is
not a
christian , when he left
the pulpit , and became governor . That is being a hypocrite and back-slidden from being a christian ( no
longer a
christian , if he was a christian ) .
When God chooses ( hires ) , someone to be in one
of the offices of the bishop , as found in I Tim .3:2 , that is their full
time work (
job , ministry ) until
they die . If they are doing what God wants them to
do , they do
not have time
to also , work
another job . You say , “how
about financial needs”? If you have your faith
in Jesus Christ , then Phil .4:19 will be in effect .
Can christian’s , not
in the office
of the bishop , be
involved in political
offices ? Of course, and they should be . You surely do
not want Satan’s people having complete control and rule over you , do you ? Basicly , all christian’s
are supposed to be the spiritual
police of the world .
Can christian women be involved in political
offices ? By
all means , yes . She
just cannot be the
head of anything , because of this next verse . I Cor .11:3 --- “ But I would have you know, that the head of every man IS Christ ; and the head of the woman IS the
man ; and the head of Christ IS God . The
woman needs a man’s
covering , as I
Cor .11:7-9 tells us .
Parable
of the head : Condalisa
Rice is Secretary
of State . A
very important office . I think she does
that job very well . You say , “ why is she not running for the Presidency”. Condalisa , evidently knows and understands
her boundrys , as
a woman , and
that is very
commendable , unlike Hillery
Clinton and others , who are usurping authority over the man , out
of control .
The President
of the United States is the head
person who leads ( controls ) the
United States . The
whole body of congress is as the
woman ( the neck if you will ) , which needs a man over it . Congress helps the President make decisions for the whole
United States . It
is the President ( head ) who should make the final
decisions . That
is why the President is the one with the most authority . God teaches us , the head
is the man , and not the woman . The woman is under the man’s authority ( Adam first , then Eve ) , Gen .1:27 , Gen .2:7 , Gen .2:22 , equals I Cor .11:3 .
On the other hand , Nancy Pelosi has usurped ( taken ) authority away from the
man , becoming the Speaker
of the House . The worst part is , man
has allowed her to do so . The Speaker
of the House is the head
of congress , and
should be ran by a
man (
preferably a christian man ) . The
President of the United States , Vice
President , and
the Speaker
of the House , should
all be of man’s rule , just
as Eph .5:23 tells us , the man ( husband ) is the
head ( authority ) over the
woman ( wife ) . Senator’s and Congressmen , can
be men or women (preferrably
christian’s) .
Don’t confuse authority with equality . Authority means you have permission from a higher
source (person and entity) to lead , have a head or main say so over , or control over ( not in a dictatorial or demanding way ) . I give you I Cor .11:3 again .
Gal .3:28 --- “ There is
neither Jew nor Greek , there is neither bond nor free , there
is neither male nor female : for ye are all one in Christ
Jesus”. That is a great
example of what equality means . Parable : God has chosen me to be an apostle , having authority over all pastor’s and their
congregations . But
the person who has excepted Jesus
Christ as their saviour today , is equal to me , an apostle , although I am far more
learned in God’s word , than that new
born christian
is . Amen ?
These
last two scripture , are
the bottom lines .
Rom .16:17-18 --- “ Now I
beseech you , brethren , mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have
learned ; and avoid them”.
(
18 ) --- “ For they that are such serve not our Lord
Jesus Christ , but
their own belly ; and
by good
words and fair
speeches deceive the
hearts of the simple”. Means un-seasoned christian’s .
Do not vote for
someone who will squander ( throw away ) your tax
paying money, or just looks good , or is a slick
talker , or can over ride others by winning
an argument . As
the last two scripture tell us : Avoid those who cause divisions with good
words and fair
speeches , as they are snakes in the grass , for
they are in it for
their own personal
gain , and not in the
best interest for
that particular office .
The bible does teach us , not to be critical , but to judge righteously . Former President Bill Clinton fits right here . Some people still
call him president
Clinton . That is very wrong and dishonoring to the current
President , no
matter how much they dislike the President , being critical of him .
Back in the late 60’s , there was what was called the draft . That
meant , all male guys who turned 18 years
old , were required
to register with the courthouse , in
their town , and be ready to serve in the armed
forces , if
they were drafted ( mandatory call
upon ) .
Bill Clinton was afraid he would have to serve in the Viet Nam War , so
he fled to Canada , avoiding the draft ( being a trader and a
coward ) . In 1972 , when the war was over , the President at that time , passed a law , that whoever ran to Canada , could then come back to America . That should have disqualified Bill from becoming our fearless Commander in Chief .
Bill Clinton was impeached , but was allowed to
serve out the remaining
months . When Bill and Hillery left the
White House , they
trashed it , showing
their disrespect . They
cost the tax payers one
million dollars . Recently , Hillery’s
Campaine rented a building in Mass . and trashed
it . Why
they are still liked and respected by some people , is beyond me . I
guess some people are like elephants , having a very short
memory .
I personally have no
hard feelings toward Bill or Hillery Clinton , as Eph .6:12 tells us , our battle is not with flesh
and blood , but the devil’s that are in flesh and
blood . Remembering past
history is
great to consider , for our present knowledge . There
is nothing we can do about the past , but we should learn from our mistakes , and
do better in the future .
So christian’s , when you vote for any
office , choose the person
who is best qualified to do
the job , according to God’s word . Choose someone
who is best
qualified to make the
right decisions . Also , review each candidates past
record , to see who is best
qualified for that particular
office . By doing these things , they will help to make a better United
States of America . Amen ?
