How To Read God’s Word
Theme: Acts 17:11
First of all, you need a real bible, and not just books that are called bibles. All books that are labeled bible, are not all bibles. Satan has cleverly had books printed and disguised as bibles. They are no better than Satan’s bible for his church. Those books that have flooded the markets are called “ modern translations” and paraphrases, and are only man’s commentaries, and labeled “bibles” to confuse the new and average christian . They are not even good to study by.(NIV and most modern translations are not inflalable) . Learning Greek and Hebrew words are not important , unless you just want to learn Greek , or Hebrew as another language. I Cor. 14:33--- “For God is not the author of confusion , but of peace , as in all churches of the saints”.
The translations have taken away and added to what God’s word says, and those people are in big trouble with God . Deut. 4:2--- “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish aught from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you”. Diminish --- take away. Aught --- anything. Rev. 22:18&19 --- “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book”. (19)--- “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book”. When trying to follow along in a King James Bible with modern translations, it is confusing, because the modern translations will use different words. Some of the words mean the same, but others have replaced words that take on total opposite meanings, and make the passage mean entirely different. You still have to look words up in those other books. Why be miss led?
For example: The NIV being well liked by many, even the pew “bible” at West Point Academy, is the worst, and most deceiving books labeled “bible”. (1) God’s word is against gay and lesbianism. Read Deut.22:5, *Lev.20:13, I Cor.11:14&15, Matt.19:4-5, Luke 23:29, Rom.1:25-32, and the next four verses are very clear ; Jude 7&8, and I cor.6:9&10, that gays and lesbians will not enter into heaven. (Prov.18:22-- gay and lesbian). They can go to heaven if they stop their evil deeds, repent to God the Father through Jesus Christ, and accept Jesus Christ as their saviour . It’s the sin God hates, not the people. You can be forgiven, if you ask God. All this about lesbianism is because of a woman by the name of Virginia Ramey Mullencott, who helped in a big way, to change and put the NIV book together, as she claims to be a lesbian, as who she is , being her identity.
That disqualifies the NIV from being God’s word, along with other things, and makes the NIV of no credibility. Now, you know better.(2)NIV stands for New International Version. The word International in this context, is linked to a one world order, which means you can worship any god you want to. Exod.20:3--- “Thou shalt have no other god’s before me”.That’s as plain as God can be, amen? (3)The NIV has omitted part (b) of I John 5:7 “the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one”. This is one of the most important verses in God’s word because of the three witnesses (being one God) in heaven. You say that doesn’t matter? (a) If it were not for those three, being one God, we would not even be here in the first place, and (b) by omitting part (b) of that verse, is why Deut.4:2 and Rev.22:18&19 were put in God’s word.(4) The NIV has replaced the word charity, with the word love. Those two words are different in their meanings. The word love has many different meanings, such as: love between husband and wife, father and son, employer and employee, etc. That’s true, the word charity means love , but in a general sense.
The NIV replaces the word charity with the word love ,out of context. The reason for the word charity in God’s word is because God is talking of ALL love, and not just one kind of love. And (5), the initial reason given for modern translations to change God’s word, was because of words like thee and thou. That was only an excuse to change and re-arrange God’s word to make it what they want it to mean. God’s word is not to be graded as a teacher grades student’s papers. We are talking about God the Father’s word, the Master of the universe. He needs no correction. You will find some of your well liked plays and stories, use the words thee and thou in them.
You now have more than enough reasons why the NIV book is NOT God’s word. Eugene Peterson’s “The Word” claims to be the bible. It is only a paraphrase of Eugene Petterson’s word, and surely not God’s word. The King James Bible is what the occultist start out with, then they rearrange God’s word with their own words and commentaries, coming up with modern and contemporary, new age, and one world religion, putting Satan first, instead of God. Occultist will use some truth and mix their hereseys (commentaries) with it, to deceive whoever they can. If you are reading God’s word as the Holy Ghost gives inspiration, and not through her-men eutics (the art and science of interpretation), then you will understand what God has for you. Of course you have to look words up, to find out what they mean in the King James Bible, you do also in those other books they call bibles, as well .
Ok, I will list six steps in reading and understanding God’s word .
(1) Don’t read fast : You are not in a race . Read to understand .
(2) Don’t read too much at a time : Read one chapter at a time, so you can understand what you read. Possibly one chapter in the morning (after being fully awake), and one chapter in the evening (a couple of hours before retiring for bed). That way, you have plenty of time to digest what you have read .
(3) Read to understand: Before you start to read God’s word, ask God the Father, for the Holy Ghost to help you understand . You will never understand all that you read, each time you read God’s word . Also in section (2), you have all day long , and a few hours at night to meditate (think) on what you have read that day. I Tim.4:15--- “ Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all”.
(4) Define words as you read: Define words you don’t know, or have a question about in that particular text, right then. Also, make sure you use the right definition for that particular word, so you stay within the context ,of what you are reading .If you don’t, you have no idea what you just read , because that word you don’t understand could be a key word, and change the whole meaning completely . After all, why read if you don’t understand? If you are still having a hard time understanding what you are reading, turn to Jeremiah 33:3 for an open bible test, and receive your answer .
(5) High lighting your bible: I don’t underline in my bible, because this or that preacher says so. Do that on a scratch piece of paper, as taking notes . I use highlighter colors in my bible, as the Holy Ghost shows me, what is for me. I didn’t start highlighting my bible until I had read the new testament through, at least four ,or five times. Highlighting makes easier to find .
(6) Where to start reading: When you first start to read God’s word, you will read the entire new testament ,excluding the book of Revelation .God’s commands are all through the new testament, which is now (present day).
The books of Revelation, Daniel, and Ezekiel, are books of the future. The old testament is in the past, already fulfilled, but written for our benefit . The new testament is for right now, and written to us. Read one-two chapters per day, starting with the book of Matthew, and ending with the book of Jude. Do that for about five times, and you will learn what God expects out of you, as a born again christian . You can start highlighting now . You should be learning by now, how to fight in spiritual warfare, because your training is right there in the new testament. Since the new testament, the Holy Ghost is your teacher, and how to find your answered questions .After you are established and grounded in the new testament, different times you can read the old testament and the book of Revelation , to find out what the past was , and the future is. The new testament will show you how to get to heaven .
NIV Omitions
(Modern translations take away from Jesus Christ deity)
(1) Luke 4:4--- “but by every word of God”- omitted .
(2) Luke 2:22---their instead of her
(3) Luke 2:43---his parents instead of “Joseph and his mother”. Jesus did not have an earthly father. Joseph was Jesus step-father .
(4) Luke 2:33--- “Joseph and his mother” are replaced by the childs (father) and mother.
(5) Matt. 17:21--- completely removed
(6) Matt. 18:11--- completely removed
(7) Matt. 23:14---completely removed
(8) I John 5:7--- completely removed
(9) John 5:4--- completely removed
(10) John 6:55--- “flesh is meat” changed to my flesh is real food, “my blood is drink” changed to my blood is real drink . John is talking about spiritual, not physical .
(11) James 5:16--- faults changed to sins . Two different meanings.
(12) Matt. 6:7--- vain repetitions changed to do not keep on babblings, different meanings .
(13) Mark 10:24--- “ it for them that trust in riches” is omitted .
(14) Rom.1:16--- “of Christ” is omitted .
(15) Rom.11:6--- part (b) is omitted .
(16) Titus 2:13--- The word charity has been replaced by the word love. Charity means all kinds of love, in general . Love means one kind of love.
(17) John 3:15&16--- The word should is replaced by shall or will .
The King James Bible is the Bible, a lot of occultist start out with , but then they mix their wrong opinions (out of context), and come up with all kinds of heretical and false doctrines. The King James Bible came from the Textus Receptus, with the only premise to convert (interpret) from Hebrew and Greek, to the English language, so we English speaking people can read it. We don’t have to find someone who reads Hebrew and Greek, to read the Bible to us, hoping they are going to interpret the Bible correctly to us ..Two men by the names of Wescott and Hort, where most ,if not all modern translations and paraphrases , are the source of . You should do a study on those two men , and you will find it hard to believe, they were even christian’s. That’s why all those modern translations and paraphrases , are perverted and not God’s word . I am a theologian writer for Jesus Christ, and not a philosopher. If someone takes my writings, and they add their words to my writings, those writings are no longer mine, but their’s (stealing-Rom.15:20). God’s word is no different . I Cor. 2:10-16 .
Quite often, words are mistaken .They sound like they are in the present tense, but are really talking about the past or the future. I Tim.1:15 is a good example of words that sound like they are in the present tense, but are in the past tense . Talking about the past, “Of whom I am chief”. Now that word am , Paul is referring back to when he was a sinner, as verse 13 tells us, the word before is key here.Paul is talking of how bad a sinner he was compared to the rest of the apostle’s before their conversion .Paul is not talking in the present tense, because since Acts 9:6, Paul was converted from being a sinner (no longer a sinner), to a born again christian. In Matt.16:16, the apostle Peter said to Jesus , “Thou art the Christ”. There , Peter was talking to Jesus in the future tense , although Jesus was not the Christ (saviour) , until He died and arose again .(Talking about the future) . The word saved , when referring to heaven or eternity, sounds like it is in the past or present tense . In that context, it is always referring to the future. You are never saved , as long as you are in a house fire , until you are out of the house completely. You are not saved from hell , until you die , and with Jesus Christ .
