Do I Pray ,or Use My Authority?

Theme: Titus 2:15
Pray ,If It Be Thy Will :
Another house or a new house , a used car or a new car , a spa , a riding mower , etc . , are nice to have , and are called blessings . We obtain things like these called blessings , by requesting them from God . Phil .4:6&7--- “Be carefull for nothing ; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God”.(7)--- “And the peace of God , which passeth all understanding , shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”. We thank God when He blesses us with these blessings . Verse 7 is letting us know , that not all we ask for would bless us , and God will say no , or wait .Then there are times He will say yes .
We pray (request) with all supplication , giving God our petition ,being our prayer request , asking God If it be thy will , as this is up to God whether we receive these blessings from Him , or not . Receiving blessings from God has nothing to do with our atonement that Jesus Christ did on the cross .We are to pray without ceasing , as I Thess .5:17 tells us , and we do so until God answer’s us as being yes , no , or wait . His answer is never maybe . Here is where casting lots (a fleece) , as found in Acts 1:26 comes in . In Acts 1:23 , the apostle’s picked two people , who they thought were best qualified to take Judas Iscariot’s place , as numbering the twelve apostle’s again .In verse 24 , they prayed to see which of the two would fill the twelveth apostle slot , and was not sure of God’s answer , or if God had not yet answered them . In verse 26 , they gave forth their lots ( put a fleece before God) , and God showed them Matthias was to be numbered with the eleven . The bible does not explain how their fleece was acted out .
Parable : My bicycle was wearing out , and needed almost the amount of money to be repaired ,as a new bike . I put a fleece before God , and it went like this Rule #1 . Never pray to God outloud , when putting a fleece before God . Satan will hear you and make your fleece fail , thinking you heard from God , when you didn’t .Rule #2 . Make your fleece as impossible to yourself as you possibly can , and you will understand what Jeremiah is telling you in Jer .32 :17. I asked the Lord (in my thought) if it is His will for me to have a new bike , then there would be at least one red bike AND one blue bike , at a certain department store . My brother would take me there , and I would ask my brother which color I should buy , knowing my brother’s favorite color is red . If my brother chose red , then I would fix my old bike. If he picked the blue bike , then , a new blue bike it would be . He picked _________.
Praying the Pray of Faith :
We don’t ask if it be thy will , for healing , asking the Lord to render (make null and void ) things ineffective for any kind of demonic use , or sins to be forgiven . It is God’s will . That is like insulting God , asking if it is ok for these things to occur . All these things I have just mentioned in this last paragraph to include , rebuking and commanding Satan to leave , binding and casting out devil’s and breaking curses , IS God’s will , without asking , “if it be thy will”. Why? Because all these things I have just mentioned , is why Jesus Christ died on the cross . They have all been paid for , plus our salvation , in what is called our atonement . Seeing how all these things have already been paid for . All we need to do is pray the prayer of faith , as asking and thanking God for these things , and receive them .
Parable : Your father has bought many things from the store , for you and him . Keep in mind , these things have already been paid for . So you don’t have to ask him , if it be his will, that you have what he bought and paid for , for you . He bought them for you . All you need to do is ASK .He says , “because you asked in faith (asked-- being your act of works ) , you can have these things now , these other’s , you can have latter , and these you cannot have because you will hurt yourself”. You know , that’s the way it is with God .
Action to be taken against Satan and his devil’s , we don’t pray to God for . We take our authority over Satan and his devil’s , as Jesus Christ gave us in Matt .10:1 and II Cor .10:8 in reference to II Cor .10:3&6 and Eph .6:12 , and other places in the new testament , and we fight these battles as Jesus Christ has shown us all through God’s word (especially in the new testament) how to fight , and by the power of the Holy Ghost . Mark 11:24 --- “Therefore I say unto you , What things soever ye desire , when you pray , believe that ye receive them , and ye shall have them”. When praying the prayer of faith , we have faith knowing our hope (subject) is ours , and we put our faith into action as we pray the prayer of faith (being our works) . So therefore , faith plus works (can be an act of works) equals answer .We also pray the prayer of faith when asking Jesus Christ to sever between someone’s soul and spirit ,as Heb .4:12 tells us , and asking God to render things ineffective for any kind of demonic use . Very powerful weapons , NOT TOOLS . Tools are to fix things .Weapons are used to take action against.
Taking your authority over Satan and his devil’s:
Who gives you that authority? God the Father gave all authority to Jesus Christ ,after His work on the cross was done . Matt .28:18--- “And Jesus came and spake unto them , saying , ALL power is given unto me in heaven and in earth”. And Jesus Christ gives ALL born again christian’s , that authority and power , to do these things .Luke 9:1--- “Then he called his twelve disciple’s together , and gave them power and authority over all devil’s , and to cure diseases”. Acts 1:8 A--- “But ye shall receive power , after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you”. Disciple’s are learner’s . So , when a christian is baptized in water , right then , the Holy Ghost gives you power , and you already have authority from Jesus Christ work on the cross . My question to you is , CHRISTIAN , WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR ? Don’t tell me your waiting until you get to heaven , you know you won’t need healing then .Everyone fights in spiritual warfare , from birth until we die . The bad thing about that , is most people are fighting for Satan and his devil’s , claiming to be christian’s , throwing curses at each other .
Psalm 51:5 --- “Behold , I was shapen in iniquity , and in sin did my mother conceive me”. That tells us : Rom .3:23--- “For all have sinned , and come short of the glory of God”; When we are born again (converted from serving Satan , to serving Jesus Christ) christian’s , still fight each other with curses . Rom .12:14 tells us , we are to bless and not curse . CURSES ARE DEMONIC ways of fighting human beings , and NOT fighting Satan and his devil’s . I Thess . 5:15 --- “See that none render evil for evil unto any man ; but ever follow that which is good , both among yourselves , and to all men”. The apostle Paul tells us in Eph .6:12 , that we are not to fight flesh and blood (human beings) .We are to fight against spiritual wickedness (Satan and his devil’s . Many preacher’s teach , you are to put the whole armor of God on ,and just stand . Through ignorance , and the lack of understanding God’s word ,(by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost) ,they also say , the battle is God’s and not ours .My friend , the new Testament is peppered full , of how born again christian’s are to FIGHT in spiritual warfare .
After the Holy Ghost (Professor) taught me , and three fourths of the way in my first great conflict (as Paul calls it in Col .2:1 ) , God let me know , this part of the battle was His . Maybe I was not paying attention , as I should have , or He knew I wasn’t seasoned enough ,I don’t know . My second great conflict was almost nine times as many people , working with 927 people , initially .When I started my second conflict , I asked the Lord to allow me to fight in that Conflict , to the end , without Him fighting for me , although I always fight with His power . He did , and it was VERY , VERY, HARD and TIRESOME . Many faith trials evolved ,but helped me to be able to fight Satan and his devil’s to the end . Sometimes we ask for more than we should . The point is , we are to fight in spiritual warfare ,and for Jesus Christ , and as He would have us to fight . By the way , my brother picked the blue bike .
Listed below are six ways we are to take authority over Satan and his devil’s. My sets of papers entitled
“How Are Curses Broken”? and “People Who Curse Other’s”, will be helpful .
(1) Rebuking Satan (when being tempted) , Matt .4: 4,7,&10 and Jude 9 .
(2) Binding devil’s , Matt .18:18 and Matt .27:19 .
(3) Casting out devil’s , Luke 4:18&36 .
(4) Commanding devil’s gone,-- after devil’s (not Satan) are cast out , it is very important to command them to go where Jesus Christ sends them ,or else they can come back in that same person with seven stronger than the first , as Matt .12: 43--45 tells us .
(5) Breaking curses , Matt 10:1 and Luke 9:1 . Both of these scripture are referring to breaking curses , as to using our authority over Satan and his devil’s .
(6) Asking Jesus Christ to sever / between someone’s soul and spirit , Heb .4:12 .
Each time Jesus commanded devil’s out of someone , they knew to go out into the deep meaning HELL (not sche-ol ,meaning shallow grave) . Devil’s don’t have physical bodies .They are only spirit’s . Therefore , they bypass the grave and go straight to hell .When devil’s are commanded out biblically , they cannot come back into that same person , or anyone else . The case with Legion and his 2,000 under his charge , was they pleaded (begged) with the Lord , not to send them into the deep (hell) , as Matt.10:28 tells us , Only Jesus Christ has authority to send to hell , because of His work on the cross . The Lord granted them their request , knowing they would inhabit other people , but to teach us several lessons . The leper in Matt .8:2 , was not a believer , and said to Jesus “if thou wilt”(if it be thy will) , “thou canst make me clean” . Had the leper been a believer , as Matt .8: 8&10 tell us , the centurion was a believer , the leper would have had GREAT FAITH , and asked the Lord to “speak the word only”, and he would have been cleansed , as well .
