Physical Bridge Over Troubled Water
Spiritual (Faith) Over (Fear)
Theme: Mark 11:22 & James 1:6
In this first paragraph only , read All words that are in black and orange ink first , for physical aspect . Then read ALL words that are in black and blue ink , for spiritual aspect .
Say your driving
your car (going through life)
in the country. You have had hard rains (trials and tests) for some time now. You find your bridge (faith), is no
longer connecting (faith failure)
your side to the other side (Jesus Christ) of the
river (life), as the troubled water (fear) has taken down, or washed away your bridge (faith). You don’t know how you are going to get to the
other side (Jesus Christ),
as the troubled water (fear), is heavy. You call for help (Lord,
help me). The Army Reserves (God’s spiritual warfare warrior’s) bring a portable bridge (their
faith), and extend it (pray the prayer of faith) across (against)
the troubled water (fear). You now have access (faith)
to the other side (Jesus Christ), over troubled
water (fear). Now,
you want to rebuild (grow) a permanent
bridge(your faith), so you
can have access (faith) to the
other side (Jesus Christ), AT
ALL TIMES. Amen?
Portable
faith means someone else is
praying, or standing in the gap, for you.Rom.15:1&2.
Ways to build a permanent bridge (faith), is doing God’s commands. I have listed 8 for you:
(1) Read God’s word everyday. Read one chapter every morning, and, or, one chapter at night.
Start
with Matthew chapter one. Each day, reading one to two
chapter’s. When you have completed reading the book of Jude,
repeat that process at least five times. You will be familiar with God’s
command’s by that time. Before you read God’s word, each time, ask God the Father, for the Holy Ghost to help
you understand all God the Father wants
you to understand.
That’s
one of the functions of the Holy Ghost, and how God reveals His word to us, II Tim.3:16. You will understand some, not all, because you
cannot contain all at once, Luke 24:45.
(2) Learning and reciting Power scripture out loud. I will list a few a little
later.
(3) Praising, praying,
worshipping, and thanking God for all things He has done, does,
and will do for you.
(4) Rebuking Satan when he steals your faith, as Jude 9 tells us.
(5) Having the mind of Christ, which is basically, thinking of all that Jesus Christ is about, and stands
for, I Cor. 2:16.
(6)Also, by reading over
and over, sets of papers and teachings I have written, will strengthen faith, to GREAT
FAITH. Not because I wrote them, but
the content that is in them. GREAT
FAITH means your faith is
strong, in Jesus Christ, Matt. 8:10.
(7) Anytime you read God’s
word, or anything pertaining to God’s word, READ
OUTLOUD.
Rom.10:17“So then faith cometh by HEARING, and HEARING by the word of God”.
(8) Anytime you need more
faith, ask God, and believe He has already given it to you.
By constantly practicing these eight
steps I have just shown you, Satan will have a
much harder time, making you fall. Also, when seeking healing,
make sure your spirit and soul are taken care of first. This is very important.
Strong Scripture for Strength
Phil.4:13“I can do all things through
Christ which strengthen eth me”.
Matt. 21:22“And all
things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye
shall receive.
Jer. 32:27“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me”?
Jer. 32:17“Ah
Lord God ! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the
earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard
for thee”.
God
speaks to us through His word, and His
word comes Alive. Faith is then activated .Then comes the answer (miracle).
